Sebastian Oltres
- Age : 27.
- Sex/Gender : Male.
- Race : Suniage.
Yeah, Suniages do look like Humans, and they do a lot. In fact, you won’t even notice any difference between the two races when you only look at them. So, why Suniages and not Humans ? Well, it’s easy. Go talk to someone you’ve never met, and then ask them something. And by something, understand whatever you wish. If the person accepts and tries to help you, no matter the cost for his own life, then you probably met a Suniage. Or some really stupid guy. And whatever this person is, keep in mind that such a meeting seem pretty unlikely. Stupid people (at least, THAT stupid) are really rare, and there are only a few Suniages left.
- Appearance:
As every other Suniage, Sebastian is pretty normal. He has no particular sign that’ll make you notice him in a crowd. For instance, he’s not too big, not to tall, and isn’t too little or too slim either. He is… Average. Physically, at least. Except for his blue hair, rather outstanding. His eyes, almost white, are somewhat noteworthy too.
Even his clothing isn’t that original. Some real and classical blue outfit, that matches his hair. Well, the best for what he does, as he needs to be discreet in all of his actions. And, as a matter of fact, that’s also what he likes the best. Sober, and efficient. Just like him.
- Affiliation:
As far as his story goes, he’s some neutral guy. But some people are trying to convince him to join a guild and the rebellion. So, let’s say he is part of them organisation.
- Abilities :
Weapon : He uses a little blade. Easy to use, easy to hide, but deadly as hell when in the right hands.
Abilities :
- Sebastian is a little faster and slightly more agile than the average, but not by much.
- Sebastian is a really good actor. Whatever the role is, he will play it perfectly well. Emotions, actions and everything… He knows that all, and is able to fake whatever he needs.
- Sebastian is able to think really fast, and act accordingly to his observations. Doesn’t mean that he’s clever, even if he is, though.
- Psychologic description:
You thought that you found a person who would do everything to please you ? Think again. Sebastian is nothing but the opposite of a regular Suniage. When the ones of his kind usually think about the other before themselves, Sebastian is the perfect example of selfishness. He’ll betray you without any hesitation if he tkinks that it will help him. If he does something for you, it’s only because he’s sure that you’re useful, in some way. No point in describing that further. People are objects to him, nothing more. And you can use and broke objects as you want.
Does that mean that he’s someone you will hate on first sight ? No, of course not. How could he uses you if you don’t trust him ? Sebastian is really charming, able to chat about everything you wish, and to fake every emotion you would like to see. He’s an adept of sarcams, which is the form of humor that suits him the best. And who doesn’t like sarcasms after all ?
- Background:
You know, some people are meant to live a life of servitude. That’s the case of every Suniage in the world, and they naturally do so. As if they had any other choice, kindness and devotion is what they are the best at, after all. Well, most of them actually. Some Suniages are different, and dream of a different path. Sebastian is, obviously, one of those. How boring would it be if he wasn’t ? The fact is, it isn’t how a Suniage should behave. And that’s why he was quickly driven away of his own family, by his own family. Like his sister, in fact, but that’s another story.
So, at this point, Sebastian was alone, lost in a world where he had no place. His dreams quickly turned from living alone with his own desires into surviving alone with his needs. Not as fun as he tought it would be. At least, during the first week of independence. He had to learn how it was to be alone, and what was the best way to do it ? Observe. Observe those who knew how to do, and reproduce everything. And when it comes to appearances, he succeeded. But when all you see around you are lies and hypocrisy, selfishness and treason, how can you grow into a good person ? After all, these traits are what defines the wealthiest people of this world, so why should the Suniage be any different ?
Now you can easily imagine why Sebastian became a bounty hunter. No one above him if doesn’t choose to, no one to tell him which assignement he has to take or not, no one to make him stay in only one place… Was that freedom ? Of course not, you can’t be free when you still need others to live. Even if you manipulate them, even if you make them your puppets, you’re not free. But that was the closest feeling of freedom that he was able to find.
Obviously, staying neutral and only thinking about himself is kind of impossible in this world. That’s why he has to make choices and join forces. And, right now, he seems quite interested in joining rebels. Seems like they share some interest with him.
